Blacksmith in Python
The same cadaclysm_blacksmith module the SDK ships, running in your browser. Shift+Enter runs a cell, Tab completes from the live kernel; the last expression, if it is a solid, a profile or an assembly, is drawn, and so is anything passed to show(); a profile is drawn as its outline, on the XY plane, and an assembly as everything placed in it, each part at its placement. A last expression that is a list or tuple of them draws them all in one view, as show(*items) would. A Job plays: show(job, part=part), or a cell that ends in one, cuts its stock on a timeline under the cell -- play, speed, loop, a scrubber in time, a step per move, and the stock coloured by height, by tool or (with part) by how far it is from the part. solid.coloured("#c8a060") is the solid coloured, solid.coloured(colour, face=i) one face of it, and what is made from it keeps the colours. Copy the script and it runs unchanged next to the library. The menu holds more notebooks: sweeps and coils, revolves and lofts, shells, booleans, frames, and a SubD cage fired into a solid.
This page needs WebGL2 or WebGPU, OffscreenCanvas, module workers and WebAssembly. The forge may still work here.
